Ryan Todd T'08
Mr. Todd earned a B.A. in political science and philosophy and a minor in math from Duke in 2008. A recipient of the Robert C. Byrd Scholarship, the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship, and the Military Officers Benevolent Corporation Presidential Scholarship, he was named to the Dean’s List in the summers of 2005 and 2006 and the fall of 2007. While at Duke, Mr. Todd served as founder and chair of the Alumni Student Advisory Board, as president of the Campus Council, as vice president of Hoof ‘n’ Horn, as public relations member for the Black Student Alliance, and as assistant marketing director for Broadway at Duke. He was also a member of Duke Student Government, the Inter Community Council, the Residential Group Assessment Committee, the Undergraduate Union Board, the Quad Council, and the Last Day of Classes Programming Committee. He participated in the Study Abroad Program in Greece.
Mr. Todd serves as a member of the Undergraduate Education Committee of the Board of Trustees.
Raised in Jupiter, Florida, Mr. Todd received his high school diploma from the W.T. Dwyer Academy of Finance. He currently plans to attend law school in the fall. His prior work experience includes serving as a client specialist for J. Crew; as a data analyst for the Duke Talent Identification Program; and as an assistant manager for Mahz Inc. He has volunteered at the Erwin Gardens Rehabilitation Center and the Duke Primate Center.
