Lisa Borders

Lisa Borders is a trisector leader, delivering positive results in the private, public and non-profit sectors. As a senior executive in diverse industries, including professional sports, healthcare and commercial real estate as well as philanthropy and public policy, Borders has honed and deployed fungible skills as a transformative operator, financial steward and strategic guide.

Her approach is holistic, prioritizing people and driving sustainable growth. Her fundamentals: listen actively, learn quickly and lead inclusively.

She is now the CEO of Golden Glow Media, a multi-media production company, as well as LMB Group, a management consultancy firm. She’s also the host of the “Enlightened” podcast and chaired the Borders Commission, an independent panel chartered by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC).

 Borders was the inaugural president and CEO of TIME'S UP and also formerly the president of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Prior to the WNBA, Borders led corporate impact as vice president of global community affairs at The Coca-Cola Company and chair of The Coca-Cola Foundation. Borders also served as president of the Grady Health Foundation and as senior vice president of Marketing and External Affairs and Foundation president with Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), Cousins Properties Incorporated. And concurrently during her Cousins Properties tenure, Borders was an elected official, serving as President of the City Council and Vice Mayor of Atlanta.

She serves as a trustee of Duke University, a global director for Operation Hope, an independent executive board member for the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II (NCAA DII) and a board member for the National Trust for Local News (NTLN). She also currently serves as an independent trustee of Six Circles Trust at JPMorgan.

Ms. Borders earned a BA from Duke University and an MSHA from the University of Colorado.

Elected to the Duke University Board of Trustees in 2015, Borders serves on the Undergraduate Education Committee.
