As CEO of Apple, Tim has overseen the development and introduction of some of the world’s most innovative products and services, from breakthrough advances in Apple Silicon to groundbreaking new platforms like Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro; to Apple Intelligence, a personal intelligence system for Apple devices; to the launch of industry-defining services, including Apple TV+ and Apple Pay. Every day, he and his team continue to push the limits of the possible with iPhone, Mac, iPad, and Apple’s other industry leading products.
Tim leads with a deep commitment to values, including ensuring that Apple’s products are built to be accessible for everyone. Carrying forward Apple’s commitment to privacy as a fundamental human right, Apple has introduced innovative features that allow users to keep their information safe from tracking. Tim is deeply committed to sustainability; Apple is already carbon neutral for its global facilities and has an ambitious goal to be carbon neutral across its entire supply chain and the lifetime use of its products by 2030.
Apple has ranked #1 on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies for the past eighteen years, including each year Tim has been CEO.
Tim earned a BS in industrial engineering from Auburn University and an MBA from Duke University, graduating as a Fuqua Scholar in 1988.
