As CEO of Apple, Tim has overseen the development and introduction of some of the world’s most innovative products and services, from breakthrough advances in Apple Silicon to groundbreaking new platforms like Apple Vision Pro to the launch of industry-defining services, including Apple TV+ and Apple Pay. 

Tim leads with a deep commitment to values, from ensuring Apple’s products are built to be accessible for everyone to creating Apple’s Racial Equity and Justice Initiative to increase equity and economic empowerment. Carrying forward Apple’s commitment to privacy as a fundamental human right, Apple has introduced innovative features that allow users to keep their information safe from tracking. Tim is deeply committed to fighting climate change and protecting the environment; Apple is already carbon neutral for it global facilities and has an ambitious goal to be carbon neutral across its entire supply chain and the lifetime use of its products by 2030.

Apple has ranked #1 on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies for the past sixteen years, including each year Tim has been CEO. 

Tim earned a BS in industrial engineering from Auburn University and an MBA from Duke University, graduating as a Fuqua Scholar in 1988.
